What woods and materials do you use?
Standard construction is a solid hardwood face frame (maple, cherry, walnut, or rift-cut white oak), ¾-inch pre-finished maple plywood cases, and dovetailed solid-maple drawer boxes. Paint-grade projects use hard maple or MDF door centers for the smoothest finish.
Do you build inset, full-overlay, or partial-overlay cabinets?
All three. Inset construction is our specialty for transitional and traditional Plano homes, full-overlay is popular in West Plano new builds, and partial-overlay works for value-conscious refresh projects.
Where are the cabinets actually built?
In our shop at 8121 Ingram Drive in Plano. We are not a reseller — every case, face frame, door, and drawer box is fabricated here by our own craftsmen.
What door styles can I choose from?
Shaker (five-piece and one-piece MDF), slab, beaded inset, mitered raised-panel, and custom profiles matched to trim in historic or transitional homes. We can also match an existing door for additions.
What hardware do you install?
Blum Tandembox and Movento soft-close undermount slides, Blum Blumotion hinges, and Rev-A-Shelf and Hafele interior organization. Decorative hardware is your choice — we install what you spec.
Do you offer a warranty on cabinets you fabricate?
Yes — a limited lifetime warranty on the cabinet construction (case, face frame, drawer boxes, hardware function) for the original homeowner in the original installation location.
Can you match cabinets in an addition to my existing kitchen?
Usually yes. We take a door and drawer front to the shop, match species, stain, and sheen, and build the addition to the same construction spec. Perfect match on aged finishes is not guaranteed but comes very close.
Do you handle finishing in-house?
Yes. Every cabinet is sanded, sealed, and top-coated in our spray booth with conversion varnish or catalyzed lacquer — the same finish system used on high-end furniture — before it leaves the shop.
